Scholarships Shape Futures—2026 IAIA Benefit & Auction

On Wednesday, August 12, we will gather at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, NM, for an evening of art, entertainment, and fundraising during the Institute of American Indian Art's (IAIA) annual benefit and auction. Each year, generous businesses, organizations, and individuals partner with IAIA by sponsoring the event to raise critical funds for IAIA student scholarships.

IAIA includes a university, museum, and research center dedicated to the study of contemporary Indigenous arts, cultures, languages, histories, and traditions. With a student body representing nearly 100 different Tribal Nations, IAIA is a community like no other. Your support through event sponsorship is an investment in increasing educational access and success for Indigenous students and empowers the next generation of Indigenous artists and leaders.

5:00 pm, Private Opening Reception of the Auction Art Preview for event sponsors, ticket holders, and donating artists

Wednesday, August 12, 2026
5:00 pm, 2026 IAIA Benefit & Auction for event ticket holders
8:00 pm, Live Auction for event ticket holders and remote bidders

Tickets are available for purchase beginning May 15 for $550 each. Sponsorship levels of silver and up include event tickets. For more information, please reach out to us at foundation@iaia.edu.

Is my sponsorship tax deductible?

Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, EIN #32-0377684, and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of US law. If your sponsorship includes event tickets, the cash value of your tickets is not deductible. To claim a donation as a deduction on your US taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

Can I pay by check or by phone?

How do I receive a ticket for the event?

Tickets to IAIA Benefit & Auction are included as a sponsorship benefit at the silver level and up. Once your sponsorship is processed, you will receive an email containing details about how to claim your tickets. Individual tickets are available for purchase for $550 each starting May 15. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly; please plan accordingly. A limited number of tables are available for $5,500 each.
